Being a professional children photographer gives me great pleasure to photograph children playing and enjoying spending time with their parents and siblings. I look to capture your child’s character in a series of fine art photographs which will provide lasting memories in years to come. My photoshoots encourage children to explore and play, giving me an opportunity to document real moments in your child’s life; first steps, bath time, a bond with their brother or sister, an expression, a look or a feeling.
Relaxed Location Photoshoots
My children portrait sessions take place at the comfort of your home, and outside in your child’s favourite location. They are tailored to your schedule, and are easy going and fun. I try to promote a relaxed atmosphere by engaging children in their favourite activities. I love witnessing their little personalities showing through as they relax and become unaware of my presence. I use natural light to capture moments when children are absorbed in play, when they send a cheeky little glance at parents, or giggle with excitement.
Before the session, I will get in touch to introduce myself, have a chat and suggest locations and outfits for the shoot. I will also ask you about your child and what they like to do, at home and outside. The session lasts around two hours, and during this time I will mainly work unintrusively to document truthful moments. The photos are normally processed within a week, after which I will send you a link to a private password protected gallery where you can view the photos. Digital files and/or prints can be purchased at an additional cost.
Locations
I am based in Surrey, but work across London and other locations within 50 mile radius from where I live. I have photographed children in London parks like Richmond Park, Bushy Park and Ruskin Park, and in people’s homes in London and Surrey.
I am also more than happy to travel to other destinations, however as this involves additional time and travel expense I do charge an additional fuel fee. Please contact me if you would like to enquire.
Fees
My children portrait photography session fee is £175. This includes
A pre-consultation. I will arrange a phone call or Skype to chat about the photoshoot
Up to 2h shooting time at your home and/or location
A private viewing gallery of 50+ images available to purchase. Please contact me for a full price list
My time and travel on the day
I am happy to design an album for you with photos from your shoot, or advise and frame the photographs you choose. Please get in touch if you would like to arrange/enquire about this.
*My travel free is included in the photo session fee if the location is within 30 miles of where I live. For locations further afield, I may charge an additional travel fee. Please contact me for further information.
How to Book
Booking a children portrait session can be done my email, telephone call on 07793 677 867 or through a contact form on my website. It would be helpful if you could tell me a little bit about yourself, your child/children and when you would like the photoshoot to take place. I normally ask for a 30% deposit and the rest is paid just before the photoshoot.
